SAT or ACT?  How are they different?  Which one should you take, or should you take both?  See  SAT or ACT?  for some insight into these questions.

Online registration: For the SAT, go to collegeboard.com.  For the ACT, go to ACT.org and click on ACT Online Registration.  Both require a credit card for online registration.

SAT and PSAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test):  If you are planning to take the SAT and want to know test dates, get some information that may help you in taking the test, and perhaps register online, visit the  College Board's Web site, or Kaplan Online, or both.  They also have information concerning the PSAT (the preliminary version of the SAT).

SAT II Tests:  Unlike the basic SAT and ACT, a series of specific subject tests is offered by SAT.  These are the SAT II tests.  They are often optional, but some schools may require that you take certain tests.  Kaplan offers several preparatory options for SAT II exams and free services like information on the exams, test taking strategies, and much more.

Test of English as a Foreign Language

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language):   Do you need to take the (TOEFL)?   If so, visit TOEFL Online.  They also have information on the Test of Spoken English (TSE).  Kaplan, the company that specializes in test preparation services, is a resource you may want to use in preparing for the TOEFL.

Graduate and Professional

GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test):  Visit the Web site of the Graduate Management Admission Council where you will find plenty of information concerning the GMAT, and on MBA programs.  And, visit our page on the GMAT.
